The
day somehow turned out to be perfect with little to no wind and highs
around 70 degrees which was rare especially with all the bad weather
beforehand. The Building Contest took place on Opening Day
as planned. There were ten entries in the Building
Contest (8 Scale and 2 Non-Scale) with 7 entrants qualifying with a successful flight. In total, there were about
twenty-five members attending who all enjoyed a free
lunch. We need to thank Joe, Irwin, Sal, and Jim for their
efforts in making the day a success.
